Asa Director of Labor and Employment at Honeywell, you will be responsible formanaging and ensuring compliance with labor laws within the organization. Thisrole involves developing and implementing comprehensive labor strategies frominitial hiring through to contract termination, ensuring adherence to laborlaws and regulations across all aspects of labor and employment law in LATAM.
Inthis position, you will play a key role in shaping and executing the labor andemployment law strategy and compliance.


KEYRESPONSIBILITIES

  • Conducting legal research into past cases and documents.
  • Drafting and preparing claims, employment contracts or other legal documentation.
  • Providing legal advice to internal clients.
  • Negotiating on behalf of internal clients.
  • Representing clients in court and tribunal hearings.
  • Working in the best interests of employers and employees.
  • Keeping up to date with new developments in employment legislation.
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations to protect the rights and interests of employees.
  • Manage and resolve complex labor disputes and grievances in collaboration with internal and external stakeholdersGs.

YOUMUST HAVE

  • 8+years of experience in labor and employment counseling.
  • 8+ years of guiding an organization or team.
  • Proven track record of successfully guiding labor and employmentactivities and executing strategies.
  • Strong knowledge of labor laws and regulations, including experience ininterpreting and applying them.
  • Excellent communication and people-oriented skills, with the ability toinfluence and build consensus
  • Strong guiding and strategic thinking abilities to drive labor relationsstrategies and initiatives.
