Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a team of designers in the creation of compelling, user-centric design solutions across multiple platforms. Mentor and develop team members, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement. Oversee the entire design process, from concept to delivery, ensuring high-quality standards and consistency.
  • Develop and implement design strategies aligned with our clients' business objectives and brand values. Proficiency in sketching, storytelling, mood boards/storyboards, wireframes, user flows, interactive prototypes, and data visualizations
  • Collaborate with stakeholders, including experience managers, project managers and business leaders to deliver best-in-class experiences. Constant focus on using creativity to bring in innovative ideas and concepts into every experience that the team delivers.
  • Stay abreast of the latest design trends, tools, and technologies to drive innovation within the team. Present design concepts and deliverables to clients and internal teams, articulating design rationale and value.
  • Operational responsibility to plan, develop and oversee the process of executing on work products. Manage project timelines, resources, and budgets to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of design projects.

Qualifications:

  • 12-16 years of experience in design-related fields, with a focus on product design, visual design, brand design, and UI/UX.
  • A bachelor's or master's degree in Design, Creative Problem Solving, Design Thinking or a related field.
  • A strong portfolio showcasing a range of design projects and design leadership experience.
  • Proficiency in design tools and software for visual design, videos, art direction, visual scribing, prototyping etc.
  • Pro-activeness and drive to deliver projects focussing on quality and timelines. Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience in facilitating workshops, including on user-research or other similar tools and methods is preferred. A deep understanding of user-centered design principles and methodologies.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
