Minimum Qualifications
- Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Materials Engineering or related field and 2 years of experience in the job offered or related occupation.
- 1 year of experience with each of the following skills is required:
- Using statistical design of experiments (DOE) to reduce sample size and ensure total understanding of manufacturing system interactions
- Interpreting statistical significance and applying engineering principals to enable decisions to modify manufacturing process or drive design suggestions to enable products
- Using statistical analysis tools, like JMP, to determine statistical significance between two or more means
- Detecting differences in variance as well as correlation and regression testing
- Using Milling, Turning, Polishing, Anodization, Plating, Blasting, and Assembly methods, including gluing, HAF application, and automation
- Using Metrology, including OMM, CMM, 3d scanning, and FTIR, and assessing potential impact on data or drawings
- Applying Machine Design of datum structures as related to manufacturing system design
- Compiling statistical information to support manufacturing operations from global data teams and distilling data for targeted presentations and stakeholders
