Collaborate in the assembly of individual power supply units, in line with other technicians in the power supply assembly line, and log finished goods and keep consumable inventory up to date
Perform the assembly and repair of newly designed mechanical and electrical equipment and participate in first unit testing in collaboration with the equipment engineer
Perform End of Line testing using established testing procedures and equipment
Execute validation testing designed by engineers and summarize observation in test write-up
Perform minor equipment and circuit boards repairs, including soldering and de-soldering
Work around and on high voltage equipment (made electrically safe, will need the Tesla NFPA 70E training)
Provide feedback on existing SOPs and assist the process and equipment engineering teams to write new SOP's
What You’ll Bring
Degree in Physics, Engineering or equivalent experience
2+ years of experience in engineering development or power supply manufacturing development
Careful attention to detail and ability to clearly communicate results and challenges to engineering team
Proficient at soldering, use of hand tools, basic electrical, debug with multimeter, entry level fabrication
Computer skills (MS Office, Jira, navigate 3D models in eDrawings, running tests)
