How you’ll spend your day
  • Conducting and leading risk assessments and investigations
  • Performing safety inspections and tests
  • Leading investigations and learning from site incidents
  • Participating in product introduction and production line planning with safety aspects
  • Implementing procedures and standards, participating in writing safety-related procedures for the facility
  • Supervising and guiding subcontractors and conducting safety training for employees
  • Responsibility for directing and managing occupational medical examinations
  • Conducting environmental monitoring as required by law and Teva procedures, understanding occupational exposures at the site, and implementing improvements to minimize employee exposure to harmful agents
  • Continuous communication with Global EHS including accident reporting and implementation of global safety requirements
  • Working with authorities: Labor Inspection, Fire Department, Home Front Command
Your experience and qualifications
  • Education as a Safety Engineer or Chemistry Engineer
  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a Safety Engineer in pharmaceutical / food / chemical industry
  • Knowledge and mastery of local safety regulation
