Your role and responsibilities
  • Continuously expands technical and competitive knowledge in one or more brand products and the application of modern IT architectures.
  • Understands client needs and can proactively influence client’s decisions and improve depth and breadth of customer technical capabilities.
  • Influences the clients’ technology strategy and recommends solutions that bring maximum value of IBM products. Leverages technical activities and accelerators to progress opportunities through hands-on selling.
  • Collaborates with other digital sales specialties to increase digital sales technical credibility at scale.

Required technical and professional expertise
  • Mobile Device Management (MDM) Expertise – Experience working with MDM solutions, particularly IBM MaaS360, including deployment, policy configuration, and integrations.
  • Cross-Platform Knowledge – Experience working with iOS, Android, Windows, and macOS in an enterprise environment.
  • Technical Troubleshooting & Problem-Solving – Strong understanding of troubleshooting methodologies, logs, and issue resolution processes.
  • Presentation & Communication Skills – Ability to deliver compelling product demonstrations, technical deep dives, and customer-facing presentations.
  • Sales & Customer Engagement Experience – Understanding of the sales cycle, ability to align technical solutions to business needs, and experience working with sales teams.
  • Adaptability & Critical Thinking – Ability to navigate unknown circumstances, quickly learn new technologies, and troubleshoot complex issues with limited information.
  • Collaboration & Teamwork – Ability to work closely with sellers, partners, and customers to drive successful engagements.
  • Hands-On Experience with Integrations – Familiarity with integrations such as Microsoft Azure AD, Apple Business Manager, Android Enterprise, or security tools. (Optional but valuable)
  • Self-Motivated & Continuous Learner – Willingness to stay up to date with industry trends, new features, and competitive solutions.
Preferred technical and professional experience
  • Directory Services Experience – Familiarity with Active Directory, Entra ID (formerly Azure AD), and Google Workspace directory services.
  • Enterprise Application Experience – Understanding of enterprise applications and their integration with MDM solutions.
  • Networking & Security Knowledge – Familiarity with networks, VPNs, and gateways, including how they interact with mobile security and endpoint management.
  • System Administration Background – Experience managing IT environments, including user access, policies, and security configurations.
  • Leadership & Team Collaboration – Ability to mentor peers, contribute to team knowledge-sharing, and lead technical discussions.
  • Bilingual Communication – Proficiency in Spanish is a plus, especially for supporting diverse customers and partners.
