This position is Monday - Friday 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Maintain calibration program by performing calibration, maintaining documentation and investigating problems. Participate in new equipment/process validations where calibration support is necessary.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Maintain calibration program in accordance with prescribed procedure assuring that calibrations are completed to schedule.
  • Calibrate all existing equipment within the program and assure new equipment is appropriately included in the calibration system.
  • Develop and maintain accurate record systems to assure easy retrieval and proper documentation of information.
  • Review and initiate changes to existing documentation in accordance with applicable procedures. Develop new methods and procedures to support new equipment additions to the system.
  • Participate in plant validation activities as needed.
  • Maintain equipment in good working order.
  • Inform Metrology Supervisor of discrepancies or potential problems that could negatively impact quality systems, product efficacy or safety conditions.
  • Conforms with and abides by all regulations, policies, work procedures, instruction, and all safety rules.
  • Provides a “Customer Service” attitude when interacting with internal and external customers while accomplishing work, production, and achieving quality standards.
  • Maintains a clean, orderly, and safe workstation and environment at all times.
  • Other duties as assigned

Education and Experience:

  • Education: High School or Equivalent
  • Experience : Less than 3 years
  • Technical Degree Preferred
  • Experience with ISO 9000 standards and GMP’s

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Excellent organizational skills with close attention to detail and accuracy
  • Able to be aware of all relevant SOPs as per Company policy as they are related to the position covered by this Job Description
  • Functional understanding of cGMPs
  • Experience in QA/QC and the use and programming of measuring equipment
  • Able to comply with the company’s safety policy at all times
  • Able to comply with the company’s quality policy at all times.
