Perform in-house calibration of devices by comparing measurements of pressure, temperature, acceleration, or other environmental conditions to known standards
Conduct calibration tests to determine the performance or reliability of mechanical, structural, or electro-mechanical equipment
Maintain sensor library, sensor repair, and coordinate activities of all instrumentation and test equipment
Operate and use diagnostic scan tools, scopes, meters, and other test equipment
Set up a data acquisition program and validate the connectivity of all the sensors
Design and create custom brackets and fixtures
Keep records of maintenance, repair, and required updates of equipment
Establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with those contacted in the course of work
Work with vendors and coordinate onsite/ external calibrations
What You’ll Bring
Formal electronics training (AC/DC circuits, formulae, and components) or equivalent work experience
Has a basic understanding of calibration standards such as calibration ratio and inaccuracy specifications, moving into linear vs. non-linear calibrations
Experience with data acquisition systems like DTS, SOMAT, NI, DEWESOFT, etc.
Ability to operate and maintain a wide variety of hand and power tools, shop tools, and shop equipment, for the servicing of automobiles
Proficient with MS Office tools and Adobe products
Experience with JIRA and Confluence or other project management software
Demonstrated independent and self-motivated professional with the capability to handle several tasks with minimal supervision
Installation, calibration, and set up of strain gages (bonus)
Knowledge of automated calibration systems (electrical preferred)
