Nokia Service Delivery Manager

You will be part of the Enterprise Chief Data Office, a central data enterprise team within the data technology pillar that aims at building the best data technology solutions for Nokia.


We are seeking a skilled and motivated Service Delivery Manager to oversee the operations and management of our data platform. You will be responsible for ensuring seamless operations, maintaining high service quality, and driving continuous improvement to meet our platforms user’s data needs. You will have an opportunity to perform a varied role, contributing to multiple faucets of the platform including delivery, operations, demand coordination, planning and execution.

This role requires a customer-centric mindset, strong communication, exceptional planning and organization, great leadership skills and a willingness to work through the challenges to ensure a healthy data platform.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the service delivery team to ensure the reliable and efficient operation of the data platform.
  • Develop and maintain plans, schedules, and resource allocations for successful operations.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients, managing expectations and ensuring satisfaction.
  • Monitor and manage service performance, ensuring compliance with SLAs and KPIs.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to resolve incidents and implement enhancements.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive service delivery documentation and procedures.
  • Conduct regular service reviews with clients and internal stakeholders, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
  • Identify opportunities for process optimization and implement best practices to enhance service quality.
  • Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in data platform technologies to drive innovation.

Required Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 8+ years of proven experience in service delivery management, preferably within data platforms or related IT services.
  • Strong technical background with a good understanding of data management and cloud technologies.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to make informed decisions under pressure.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong client relationships.
  • Experience with ITIL or similar service management frameworks is a plus.
  • Experience in platforms like ServiceNow or equivalent platforms for incident, problem and change management.
