Your Role and Responsibilities
As a key member of our dynamic team, you will play a vital role in crafting exceptional software experiences. Your responsibilities will encompass the design and implementation of innovative features, fine-tuning and sustaining existing code for optimal performance, and guaranteeing top-notch quality through rigorous testing and debugging. Collaboration is at the heart of what we do, and you’ll be working closely with fellow developers, designers, and product managers to ensure our software aligns seamlessly with user expectations.
Key tasks and responsibilities on a regular basis include:
- Products, tooling, systems and frameworks development, enhancement and modernisation
- Integration with different internal and external tools and systems
- Users support, consultancy, trainings, and troubleshooting
- Constant monitoring and optimization of all systems
- Ensuring security and compliance
- Promoting and enforcing best practices across the teams and products
- Providing globalization tools and services
- Cloud services management
- Implementing automations
- Configuration and application management
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
- Software Development Expertise:
– Strong background in software development, demonstrating expertise in programming languages such as Java, Python or JavaScript. - Cloud Technology Proficiency:
– Experience with cloud-based technologies, showcasing familiarity with modern cloud ecosystems and tools. - Build, Development and CI/CD Toolchain Knowledge:
– Proficiency in different build, development and CI/CD tools, systems, and processes, particularly experience with technologies like Gradle, Jenkins, GitHub, Artifactory. - Self-Starter Mindest:
– A self-starter with a proactive mindset, able to initiate and drive projects independently. - Excellent Problem-Solving Skills:
– Demonstrated excellence in problem-solving, with the ability to tackle complex issues and find effective solutions. - Collaborative Team Player:
– Ability to work seamlessly as part of a team, contributing to collective goals and fostering a collaborative work environment.
Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
- Development Expertise:
– Proficiency in Java programming, including understanding of the ecosystem, libraries, and frameworks.
– Experience with Java application development, debugging, and performance tuning. Java 8, Java 11 and Java 17 and all the upgrade paths and breaking changes
– Expertise in multiple programming languages – Java, Python, Groovy, Shell scripting
– Experience in Spring framework
– Experience in designing, implementing, and maintaining microservice architectures - Strong skills in web development technologies and frameworks such as Angular and React
- Build Automation Skills:
– Knowledge of Gradle for building, testing, and deploying applications.
– Familiarity with different build and dependency management tools like Maven, Ant and Ivy and their ecosystem. - Strong understanding of Git and GitHub for source code management
- Experience in setting up and managing Jenkins pipelines and GitHub workflows and actions
- Experience with testing frameworks and methodologies – Unit, Integration, System and UI Testing – JUnit, TestNG, Mockito, Spock, Cucumber, Selenium, etc.
- DevOps and Cloud:
– Expertise in conteinerisation and orchestration – Docker, Kubernetes
– Proficiency in Аzure cloud platform and AWS services
– Expertise in configuration management tools such as Ansible, Puppet, or Chef for automated infrastructure provisioning and management.
