Description
Your responsibilities would consist of: Driving project definition, resource management, milestones and timelines. Work cross-functionally to ensure necessary project support and prioritization.Grasping complex technical topics and abstract key issues and risks into an actionable form for executive management.Constantly engage in pro-active risk management, and effectively communicating status and issues to the development team and Apple executives. Strong presentation and communication skills required.Ability to travel internationally to support technology center and vendor activities.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Experience working with early technology development and consumer product life cycles.
  • BS degree in engineering field + 5 years of relevant experience.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Exceptional program management and leadership skills: rigorous and proactive approach to orchestration of program plans, schedule estimates, and definition and management of project goals.
  • In-depth technical engineering knowledge to effectively establish and manage projects especially through the early ambiguous definition phases, assess and drive technical risks, and critically challenge engineering decisions.
  • Proven ability to effectively manage multiple global teams and vendors.
  • Ability to bring focus and transparency to complex situations while monitoring the bigger picture and the needs of a rapid development cycle.
  • Skilled at handling accountability without control, knowing how to identify and drive priorities from among the multiple issues competing for your attention.
  • Excellent communication and conflict resolution skills
  • Knowledge of imaging system design and/or camera key parts design, and subcomponents.
Pay & Benefits
  • At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $165,500 and $293,800, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.Note: Apple benefit, compensation and employee stock programs are subject to eligibility requirements and other terms of the applicable plan or program.
