This job implements tasks within the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), follows internal conventions and procedures, makes technical decisions, collaborates with peers and project leads, and contributes to code and design reviews.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Implements tasks within the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), receiving structure and oversight from more experienced staff
  • Follows well-established internal conventions and standard procedures
  • Understands internal standards & processes an applies them to make technical decisions
  • Collaborates with peers, manager, and project lead to gain understanding of tasks and review solutions
  • May contribute to code & design reviews

Expected Qualifications:

  • 1+ years relevant experience and a Bachelor’s degree OR Any equivalent combination of education and experience.


Strong proficiency in Java and backend service development.
Hands-on experience building RESTful APIs and integrating with internal/external services.
SQL/ NO SQL DBs
Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment tools
Ability to design and develop scalable, reliable, distributed systems.
Strong experience with unit, integration, functional and load testing.
Understanding of API security, error handling, logging, and best development practices.
Familiarity with monitoring & observability tools such as DataDog


Exposure to basic Python ML ecosystem (NumPy, Pandas, scikit-learn) is a plus.
Basic understanding of machine learning concepts.
Exposure to LLM APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic, HuggingFace) is a plus.
Familiarity with embeddings and calling LLMs
Understanding of RAG at a high level (retrieval + LLM response) is an added advantage.


Fintech domain experience or exposure to payments, banking etc
Knowledge of cloud platforms (GCP suite, BigQuery, Cloud Storage, Cloud Run, Cloud Spanner)

The US national annual pay range for this role is $100,500 to $173,250
