How you’ll spend your day
  • Position Teva as a leader, responsible company in the industry and social and political ecosystem

  • Develop and execute a strategic plan for Teva’s Corporate Affairs to strengthen and maintain the company’s reputation

  • Proactive and consistent relationship development with key government and political stakeholders to advance Teva business and reputational objectives and act as a key representative of Teva in engagements with government officials, ecosystem leaders, and strategic partners

  • Monitor, interpret and influence the policy environment, political, regulatory, and economic trends and conditions that may impact business

  • Develop in-depth knowledge of the healthcare system and healthcare policies, and keep internal stakeholders timely and well informed

  • Lead ecosystem outreach with key stakeholders

  • Consistent monitoring for value creation opportunities and early-warning risk mitigation

  • Lead annual CIIE event

  • Devise and deliver a sound internal and external communications plan to support the growth of Teva China

  • Manage and maintain external communication channels like social media platforms (Teva China corporate wechat account), company websites and media relations, writing copy for company newsletters or memos and adhering to company’s brand by publishing content and marketing materials

  • Manage and maintain internal communication channels like myteva intranet contents, Teva China corporate affairs messages

  • Manage ongoing internal communications in China around organizational changes and key local and regional business milestones including internal comms routines and forums (e.g. newsletters, quarterly townhalls)

  • Lead the communications aspects of key people and organization programs such as EVP, I&D, IWD, Pride etc in partnership with local HR

  • Lead ESG initiatives and execute CSR program in Greater China in partnership with local Facility and HR

  • Represent Greater China in the IM communications meeting and cascade any corporate/internal communications initiatives such as global innovation program, IM quarterly awards, Teva Gives etc to local leadership team and work with the local HR, whenever necessary

  • Work closely with global and regional corporate affairs team to initiate and coordinate PR, reputation programs and social media outreach supporting growth in China

  • Support the launch and commercialization of key products in China in partnership with local Marketing

  • Provide timely and relevant support to key Teva stakeholders

  • Perform other related duties as assigned

Your experience and qualifications
  • Minimum of 10 years' experience in government affairs and/or communications, with a deep understanding of the local societal, economic, and policy landscape

  • Bachelor’s degree above in communications, public relations or relevant field

  • Track record of managing significant strategic initiatives at a national level

  • Strong interpersonal skills, diplomatic proficiency, and the ability to build peer-to-peer relationships

  • Demonstrated expertise in strategic planning and execution

  • Demonstrated experience and ability in project management and strong time-management skills

  • Excellent copy-writing skills and demonstrated ability to prepare reports in both Chinese and English

  • Fluency in English

  • Previous corporate experience preferred

  • Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PPT)

  • Ability to work independently and as a member of a team
