Your key responsibilities

  • Manage the delivery of strategy engagements by defining project objectives in consultation with senior leadership and executing them in alignment with EY-Parthenon’s standards.
  • Work closely with clients to translate their needs into actionable project tasks and deliverables.
  • Spend most of your time leading strategy-related projects, including long-term strategy roadmaps, growth strategies, market entry and expansion strategies, go-to-market strategies, digital transformation projects, commercial due diligence, and greenfield projects.
  • Engage with a diverse client base, including global corporates, governments, family conglomerates, and sovereign wealth funds, often working directly with C-Suite executives on their strategic and transaction decisions.

You will actively establish, maintain, and strengthen internal and external relationships, ensuring that the work delivered to clients is of the highest quality. As part of this, you will anticipate and identify risks and escalate issues as appropriate. You will also contribute to a positive learning culture by coaching and mentoring junior team members.

Skills and attributes for success

  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to develop business strategies using tools such as market analysis, customer research, macroeconomic forecasting, and portfolio optimization.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively engage with clients and team members.
  • The ability to collect, analyze, and translate large amounts of qualitative and quantitative data into actionable plans and goals.
  • A collaborative mindset to motivate and counsel junior team members with diverse skills and backgrounds.

Qualifications & Experience

  • A bachelor’s degree from a top-ranking institution with outstanding academic performance, and at least 8 years of strategy consulting experience.
  • Experience in working on significant strategy projects, including commercial due diligence, digital transformation, growth strategy, and market strategy.
  • The ability to make detailed assessments of industries, products, markets, competitors, and customers to identify risks and opportunities.
  • Proficiency in English, with effective communication skills in a professional environment.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Willingness to travel within the MENA region as necessary (approximately 25-50% of the time).

Ideally, you’ll also

  • Have an MBA or Master’s degree from a top-tier business school.
  • Have prior experience with a focus on client advisory or strategic planning within a professional services environment.
  • Have excellent problem-solving, project management, facilitation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Have the ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Have full fluency in Arabic, both written and spoken.
