Job Description

Within the Global Business Solutions (GBS) organization, the incumbent is responsible for ensuring the LPT COE operations activities in the forecasting cycle for FP&A teams appropriately to optimize business transactions. The incumbent will also provide operations solutions reviewing and analyzing system and passive data governance reports to ensure high quality data and timely and complete synchronization between systems. Acts to resolve all issues and discrepancies as data stewards responsible for qualification, data analysis, creation, modification and change control for SAP BPC. The LPT COE Sr. Specialist is responsible for supporting BPC PLANIT US Operations and tickets management, ensuring the FP&A calendar activities.
  • Main Responsibilities
Primary responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, the following:
  • Strong knowledge of Systems Applications and Products in Data Processing, Business Planning and Consolidation, SAP Business Integration, and other Financial Planning & Analysis tool functionality to support the BPC Configuration Object Element operations activities across the globe.
  • Strong knowledge of FP&A process in topics related to forecasting cycle, budget preparation and overall accounting knowledge.
  • Thorough understanding of data manager packages.
  • Strong understanding of Enterprise Process Management to troubleshoot report/input templates (in cases of master data or other validations) and knowledge of how to create EPM ad – hoc reports.
  • Ability to understand data flowing through complex BW/non-BW configurations.
  • Ability to use Excel & other tools to analyze large amounts of data – for example, to compare master data, dig into calculations, etc.
  • Good communication skills to work with global stakeholders.
Education, Experience and Leadership Requirements
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Mathematics or Computer Application.
  • Minimum of 4 years of FP&A and SAP BPC planning work streams for large or complex systems.
  • Hands-on experience with SAP BPC as a planning tool, including designing, supporting, and implementing data models.
  • Proficiency in importing and connecting both SAP and non-SAP data sources.
  • Experience with Workforce, OPEX, and CAPEX modeling is a strong advantage.
  • Demonstrated technical experience with SAP Analytics technologies, including SACP, Datasphere, SAP BW, HANA, Master Data management and ECC.
  • Strong understanding of SAP data structures, end-to-end data flows, predictive capabilities, and augmented analytics.
  • Ability to work flexibly and analytically in a problem-solving environment.
  • Strong knowledge of FP&A processes and strong process orientation
  • Strong written and verbal skills enabling effective communication with all levels of management.
  • Ability to operate independently and remain focused through change or uncertainty.
  • Fluency in English required.
Technical Skills Requirements
  • SAP BPC experience required.
  • SAC-P Experience (Preferred, but not required)
  • Proficiency in PC skills (MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint) required.
  • Planning Tools / Analytical Tools experience required.
