The Finance Solutions Analyst role. A trainee professional role which requires a good knowledge of the range of processes, procedures and systems to be used in carrying out assigned tasks and a basic understanding of the underlying concepts and principles upon which the job is based. Good understanding of how the team interacts with others in accomplishing the objectives of the area.
Responsibilities:
Write test plan, cases and scripts based on requirements documents working closely with Requirements Delivery team and FRD team.
Perform product certification to user acceptance testing through execution of agreed test plan and scripts which will require a strong emphasis on logical and analytical skills coupled with strong technical acumen.
Work closely with Technology UAT support team in setting up UAT test environment. Manage UAT activities including necessary documentation and required communications, testing status, and operational readiness.
Manage defect entry activities and work with development team to assist in defect resolution as needed.
Attend regular calls to address any data needs, test planning, and test execution.
Participate in implementation of best practices and process improvements
Manage required test status related communications to GENESIS Project Management office and to the GENESIS Requirements delivery support team.Contributes to the design, roll-out and governance of financial solutions, including:
Participates in formulating and setting strategic direction for the process, organization and architecture covering Finance across Citi businesses, products, functions and locations
Assists in setting business and information architecture standards for Finance Plays a part in settling and operating necessary forums and frameworks to establish and govern policies and starts for global Finance processes
Manages implementation of procedures and development of analyses and report. Integrates established disciplinary knowledge within own specialty area with basic understanding of related industry practices.
Qualifications:
2+ years relevant work experience in large financial services, consulting, shared services’ operations related or similar industry.
With basic understanding of financial and regulatory reporting ispreferred.
Extensive experience on Software Development Life cycle in the area of Change Management for Data Warehousing, finance and risk related systems.
User acceptance testing/quality assurance experience
Strong and demonstrated implementation and project management, leadership and execution skills.
Outstanding written and oral communication, influencing and presentation skills – must be able to present and influence across organization level andfunctions.
High proficiency in MS Office Products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Amenable to work on Midshift
Education:
Bachelor’s Degree/University degree or equivalent experience
