Build and Update Bills of Materials (BOMs), models, assembly drawings, assembly procedures, and technical documentation for systems and subassemblies.
Analyze and solve complex problems with components, assemblies, and manufacturing systems under cleanroom conditions to improve tool build, quality, and cost.
Develop and design new tooling to optimize manufacturing time, cost, and quality.
Interface closely with Design Engineering and act as a facilitator between Design and Manufacturing teams.
Provide input to resolve current issues and assist in the development of new products.
Handle critical challenges across various functional groups to improve reliability, testing, failure analysis, and design.
Apply problem-solving methods, such as 8D, to uncover root causes and devise solutions for complex problems.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree with more than 3-year relevant professional experience
Experience in opto-mechanical assemblies is a plus
Proficiency in using Creo Parametric, SolidWorks or similar software
Presentation skills to present and discuss technical and project related material
An effective communicator able to share technical information with multi-functional groups and provide executive level reports to management and customers
