Build a team capable of leading a world-class process safety management program at applicable sites on a global basis
Compliance with major process safety laws and regulations such as OSHA PSM, RMP, and Seveso.
Collaborating with the corporate PSM and ISC teams, provide governance and execution of the PSM management system
Develop a governance process to support the organization in making informed decisions on risk mitigation efforts.
Provide guidance to the organization on PSM and MI risks and priorities
Ensure timely execution of Process Hazard Analyses and implementation of recommendations from those studies
Collaborating with the ISC, Mechanical Integrity, and Engineering team, ensuring timely execution of top risk, PSM, and other risk reduction processes and projects
Maintain mechanical integrity (MI) programming of equipment and systems to prevent accidents and ensure safe operations.
Oversee and review metrics related to PSM including but not limited to; on-time action completion, compliance action completion, incident investigations, program maturity improvement, etc.
Provide oversight on the execution of PSM MS at applicable sites, including maturity planning and verification, action tracking, and compliance monitoring; including PSM audit program oversight.
Ensure work processes and operating systems are in place to support implementation strategies consistently and effectively
Work with the capital team to scope PSM projects for capital approvals
Maintain a continuous improvement mindset, looking for productivity gains through project closeout meetings and implementing improvements via lessons learned.
Responsible for verification for PSM elements including hot work, confined space, lock tag try, Contractor Safety, and others as needed.
Ensuring management of change controls are in place and effective
Managing overall pre-startup safety review process and shut-down processes in compliance with applicable requirements
Supporting the safe and compliant integration and scale-up of new or revised processes into the production environment
Ensuring appropriate standards, protocols, and SOPs are in place for the implementation of new processes and/or improvements
You Must Have:
Minimum 10 years experience in process safety management or oversight for PSM
Ability to travel 30% annually
