Partner with the best

You will work in partnership with account teams to sell Akamai products. You'll execute plans for success, pipeline new and existing accounts, business development, strategic selling, marketing and enablement.

As a Partner Account Executive Senior, you will be responsible for:

  • Building and executing the plan for high revenue growth
  • Identifying, developing, and closing business at new and existing customers
  • Establishing relationships with partner teams in the field and executive levels
  • Creating alignment with partners and Akamai's field teams
  • Creating and managing a sales pipeline with forecast accuracy
  • Becoming a subject matter expert on Akamai
  • Delivering joint value proposition through in-person meetings, conference calls, sales activities, trainings, and other events
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams of sales engineers to ensure successful consultative engagements with partners and customers

Do what you love

To be successful in this role you will:

  • Have 8+ years of relevant experience and a Bachelor's degree
  • Have ability to travel to partner meetings and events as needed
  • Demonstrate proven successful sales track record and quota achievement
  • Experience with channels sales management in Cybersecurity
  • Have business development or sales experience with Presidio
  • Possess excellent negotiation, solution-selling, presentation, verbal and written skills
