Employee Self Service(ESS) Agent (part of M365 Copilot 1P Agents) preview wasby Satya followed by a deeper capability presentation by Rajesh Jha and Charles Lamanna. ESS Agent will automate some of the core functions like HR, IT Help Desk, Facilities etc for our Enterprise customers, significantly reducing their cost while delighting their employees with much richer and engaging.

As a Principal Engineering Manager, you will lead a team of engineers in solving deeptechnical problems, driving adoption of good design and engineering practices and configuration distribution standards, and collaborating across groups to deliver successful outcomes. This role offers tremendous opportunities for learning, growth, and leadership development.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, or related technical discipline AND 10+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python
    • OR equivalent experience.
  • Experience with cross-platform integration - Single Sign On, On behalf of (OBO) design and development.
  • Experience in Identity Frameworks including OAuth, Authentication/Authorization, OpenIDConnect.
  • 3+ years of People Manager Experience in leading large dev teams to achieve complex goals on time and on budget.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Solid design, coding, debugging, teamwork, partnership, and communication skills.
  • Proven ability to find a shippable solution given conflicting and ambiguous requirements.
  • Excellent technical skills in driving design, architecture with cross product and services dependencies.
  • Ability to drive innovation with customer obsession.
  • Experience with cross group design and coordination.
  • You must be self-driven, curious to learn, proactive, and result oriented.
