Help DBA team to Implement, scale and troubleshoot a global, multi-cloud layer for multiple cloud products using RDBMS, noSQL and GraphDB.
Implement and monitor the security controls and performance metrics of the layer, including resiliency checks and failure prediction.
Willingness to be part of an on-call rotation.
Recommends best practices for DDL/HA/DR
Build, automate and deploy highly available, robust, and secure database solutions.
Participate in technology architecture discussions and planning with internal partners and senior leadership.
Communicate status, risks to schedules and offer mitigation strategies to ensure delivery of projects.
What We'd Like to See
Bachelors / Masters Degree or Higher in Computer Science or related field with 4+ yrs experience in database administration.
In-depth knowledge and experience managing and supporting MySQL databases across multiple Cloud providers (AWS/GCP/Azure/OCI)
Experience in managing and supporting in hosted solution for Neo4j (Graphdb), ScyllaDB and MongoDB.
Expert in building and setting up HA and DR model for Database Systems.
Expert-level knowledge of MySQL Database internals and queries optimization/benchmarking for OLAP and OLTP, tuning and debugging
Strong automation and scripting development experience ( Shell, Python)
MySQL Master-Master and channel-based replication including filter definitions and namespace conflict resolution.
8+ years of experience with components such as EC2, S3, RDS, Security Groups, Route 53, subnets, VPC in cloud infrastructure
8+ years of experience with GIT and CI/CD pipeline
Experience or Knowledge in Docker, Kubernetes.
Cloud certification is preferred ( AWS/Azure/GCP)
Role Essentials
Knowledge of other Public Cloud i.e. GCP and Azure cloud.
DB Monitoring tool experience and setup with pager tools (Monyog, OpsGenie) integrations.
