The position’s responsibilities involve installation, configuring, monitoring and resolving of issues with infrastructure hardware, configuration and network connectivity in Amazon corporate offices around the world.These activities include the following:
- Installation and troubleshooting of infrastructure hardware, software and connectivity
- Ability to travel within geographical work area is required.
- Ability to work in a 24/7 environment
- Communicate with technical and non-technical staff

- Technical Diploma in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field; or Certifications in a relevant field (CCENT, Network+, CCNA)
- 2+ years of experience in data center or critical environment
- 2+ years of experience with network cabling, optic types, and test equipment (VFL, power meter, and OTDR etc.)

- Experience with cabling infrastructure best practices and methodologies
- Knowledge of major Command Line Protocols (Cisco IOS, JunOS, etc)
- Experience with ethernet and IP networking
- Experience in large scale data center network implementations and support
- Experience working with IT best practice frameworks (ITIL, LEAN, AGILE)
