What you'll do...

Sam’s Tech is looking for an experienced Principal Technical Program Manager who is skilled at the overall management and execution of tech operations. You will sit within the Chief of Staff Office and support the execution of important organizational-wide initiatives that enable the successful management of the overarching tech strategy.

Your role will involve breaking down barriers to enable the delivery of large-scale, technology-driven projects and programs across the Sam’s Tech enterprise. You’ll work closely with Engineering leaders and help develop a sound annual operating plan and manage it throughout the fiscal year. You’ll also work closely with Finance, HR, Product leaders.

You’ll maintain budgetary and ROI goals and leverage your technical knowledge to influence stakeholder decision-making. With your leadership and strategic vision, you'll play a pivotal role in taking the Sam’s business on continuous path of evolution and growth.



What you'll do:

  • Provide overall direction by analyzing business objectives and customer needs.
  • Develop build support and implement business strategies, plans, and practices.
  • Analyz e costs and forecasts while incorporating them into business plans.
  • Determine and support resource requirements.
  • Evaluate operational processes.
  • Measure outcomes to ensure desired results.
  • Identify and capitalize on improvement opportunities.
  • Demonstrate adaptability and sponsoring continuous learning.
  • Develop and implement strategies to attract and maintain a highly skilled and engaged workforce.
  • Cultivate an environment where associates respect and adhere to company standards of integrity and ethics by integrating these values into all programs and practices.


What you'll bring:

  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in technology, retail, or a related field.
  • A deep technical program management background and direct experiences developing systems.
  • Extensive experience in Operations and Financial Management.
  • Ability to influence stakeholders and build consensus.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to embrace change and drive digital transformation.
  • Customer-focused with a proven track record of delivering results.
  • A commitment to live and model Walmart's values.

The annual salary range for this position is $143,000.00-$286,000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Minimum Qualifications...
