WHO YOU’LL WORK WITH
We are looking for a Senior Finance Analyst, SEA&I, who will be a highly motivated self-starter with strong financial and commercial understanding. This role will require them to provide critical financial insights through the interpretation of financial results - including trends, risks, and opportunities to drive timely and actionable decisions. They will need to have a strong analytical and technical skill set, and an ability to transform multiple data sets into action through effective communication skills. This role provides a great opportunity to make a significant impact at NIKE.
Bachelor's degree, preferably in a Business-related field with an emphasis in Finance and Accounting.
Experience working in a fast-paced, innovative retail or consumer products, go-to-market experience is strongly preferred.
8+ years' experience in finance, financial analysis, financial/strategic planning, accounting and budgeting.
Proven strong analytical skills and financial modelling, combined with sound financial and commercial acumen; ability to work with large amounts of data, deal with ambiguity, and be organized and resourceful.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, and ability to develop high-profile, influential, and collaborative relationships across teams, functions, and layers.
Advanced proficiency with Excel and PowerPoint.
Proven business partnership experience working with cross-functional partners is preferred.
WHAT YOU’LL WORK ON
As part of the SEA&I Finance Planning team, you will be leading our Margin Planning offense partnering across our wider Finance team and key cross-functional stakeholders. With this you will manage the margin forecasts, annual budgeting, periodic deliverables and long-term growth opportunities. In addition, you will also be partnering with the Marketplace Supply Chain and Brand Marketing teams to support their investment portfolios.
Key responsibilities include:
Provide analysis of Margin profile across the SEA&I business delivering insights into drivers for decision making and identifying risks and opportunities for portfolio management.
Lead the monthly Margin forecast process across SEA&I, partnered with Marketplace Finance team.
Long Range Margin Planning including aligning guidance for each Marketplace Unit and Cost Per Unit (CPU) driver.
Business Partner with the Marketplace Supply Chain to manage and optimize CPU/OCOGS drivers.
Business Partner for the Brand Marketing team to optimize investments against Brand Initiatives and Commercial Drivers.
