Description:

Working under direct supervision of the Central Africa Excon Unit Head

Transactions:

  • Vetting & scrutiny of all transactions received, ensure completeness and Compliance of documentation against all controls required by the local exchange control requirement and Citi policies

  • Ensure timely and accurately processing of transactions

  • Conduct End to end prefinancing activities with Central bank

  • Ensure Clearance of transactions in relation to Exchange control regulation

  • Ensure assigned regulatory reports are submitted timely and accurately (DFX, Domiciliation, Clearance report, …etc).

  • Ensure a comprehensive management reports are in place (Pending transactions report, deferral report, KPI report, Dashboard, volumes, being EOD, weekly, Monthly or add report)

  • Perform other activities as assigned by the supervisor

Qualifications:

  • Relevant experience in banking operations preferably in Exchange control regulations related

  • Demonstrate a good mastering of the Exchange control regulation in general and in the regulation on the extractive sector and foreign currency accounts in particulars.

  • Effective analytic and presentation skills

Education:

  • Minimum- University Degree in Banking, Finance, economic and related fields

Automation & Efficiency:

Propose and implement solutions that will increase operating efficiency and lead to an improved client experience.Serve as a subject matter expert for User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and PVT.

Execution of Controls:
