As a Director in the Retail Bank Risk organization, you will apply your leadership and relationship building skills to deliver shared outcomes for high priority initiatives. You will be an integral part of the Bank Risk Advisory leadership team, coordinating large initiatives, supporting transformational change, and helping to develop and drive the team’s people strategy. You will own important deliverables from day one working alongside key stakeholders.
Responsibilities include:
Serve as a central point of contact with the Retail Bank Risk Advisory VP, her leadership team (LT), and the broader Risk Organization, as well as with the Retail Bank Chief of Staff team, and other key partners.
Oversee progress of multiple projects to drive consistency in results, including large remediation efforts, audit and examination preparation, and the coordination of risk activities for large, complex business initiatives
Collaborate with risk advisors, other risk partners and leadership to identify areas for improvement, including long term strategies to streamline processes
Lead the development and execution of the organization’s people strategy, vision and goals in partnership with the Retail Risk Advisory leadership team and Human Resources.
Ensure the implementation and execution of well managed governance and change management processes across projects/programs
Provide strategic insights and recommendations to leaders, acting as a trusted advisor for project/program related decisions
Demonstrate outstanding communication and partnership skills with key stakeholders across all levels to manage, inform, and influence outcomes
Demonstrate organizational agility to adapt to changing demands and work in a dynamic environment
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree or military experience
At least 7 years of Project Management or Risk Management experience
Preferred Qualifications:
8+ years of Risk Management experience
4+ years experience in the financial services industry
4+ years experience in Human Resources or a role in a Chief of Staff organization
3+ years experience leading an organization’s people strategy
PMP Certification or Masters Certificate of Project Management (CPM)
Exceptional communication and collaboration skills
Excellent problem solving and influencing skills
