Responsibilities:
Coordinates, executes and instills strong risk management practices throughout HR, serving as a thought partner to identify, socialize, and resolve key risks and issues identified through those activities to deliver a consistent and well-managed experience across the organization
Consults on risk to one or more HR Functional Areas providing advice and guidance to internal business clients as needed
Effectively challenges our HR business partners and collaborate effectively with 2nd lines of defense (Compliance, Legal, Enterprise Risk Management, Operational Risk Management) and 3rd line of defense (Audit)
Proactively analyzes risk trends, identifying signs of changing risk levels and/or symptoms of process control breakdowns and areas of emerging risk for the business unit including reporting on risk topics to management
Stays current on the changing regulatory environment and understand the impacts to your businesses
Provides oversight and guidance during risk assessments (Launch, Process Criticality, Procell Level Assessments, and, Risk and Control Self-Assessments, etc.)
Supports audits and regulatory exams of our business partners’ organizations, as applicable
Participates in risk forums and contributes to continuous improvement of risk management practices
Sets direction, manages expectations, and may lead cross-functional teams through various initiatives
Participates in and execute other special projects for the risk office on a periodic basis
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree or military experience
- At least 3 year of Financial Services Risk Management Experience
- At least 5 years of Project Management experience
- At least 7 years of experience supporting, partnering and interacting with internal business clientsPreferred Qualifications:
- At least 7 years of Project Management experience leading cross functional projects and programs in Risk
- At least 7 years of Financial Services risk management experience
- PMP Certification or Masters Certificate of Project Management (CPM)
