You will lead end-to-end delivery of projects, partnering closely with teams across Operations, Technology, as well as Product Development, Business Management, Sales & Trading, Legal & Compliance, Finance, and other corporate functions. As project manager you will drive execution of strategic and tactical initiatives throughout the project lifecycle, including solutioning, process design, resource management and reporting of status to stakeholders and senior management.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Project Manager/Business Analyst leading the delivery of strategic, process improvement and regulatory projects.
  • Identify business model, operational process, systems, and resourcing impacts resulting from these initiatives; working in partnership with key stakeholders including business, technology, compliance, risk, and finance as required.
  • Continuous improvement and change management mindset, questioning conventional ways of managing the business and driving change to improve processes.

  • Effectively translate business requirements into value-added, comprehensive solutions and test plans using appropriate processes, procedures, and technology
  • Maintain a robust and auditable governance process to ensure accurate and timely delivery of overall project, through use of project framework, methodologies, reporting and appropriate escalation.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, provide leadership, direction and focus for business functions and project resources.

Required Qualifications, Capabilities & Skills:

  • Minimum bachelor’s degree [Finance, Business, Accounting]
  • Minimum 4 years of relevant Project Management / Change Management experience within the financial services industry is required.
  • Prior roles/experience in Markets Operations is mandatory.
  • Knowledge of Settlements Operations experience is preferred.
  • Proven project management and organizational skills, able to take the lead in unstructured situations, including seizing new opportunities.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to partner with all types of stakeholders, at all levels across the business areas including senior executives, managers, and subject matter experts.
  • Independent, proactive worker with the ability to quickly understand complex subject matter and demonstrate critical thinking.
  • Experience in data transformation tools, such as Alteryx and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, QlikView/Qliksense)
  • Analytical mindset and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex operational issues.
  • Problem solving skills – the candidate must demonstrate exceptional judgment and the ability to independently identify and escalate key issues, obtain appropriate information form further analysis, and develop actionable recommendations.
  • Teamwork skills – the candidate must be flexible in his/her/their work style and be able to work appropriately with stakeholders and colleagues at all levels.

Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities & Skills:

  • Strong understanding of different technological development methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall) and design techniques with ability to successfully lead regardless of approach.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, Alteryx, UI Path is preferred.
