As a senior self-contributor, work closely with colleagues in Project teams and stakeholders in other functions across different regions to ensure the successful delivery of platform modernisation initiatives.
Pragmatic application of project management methodologies, wealth management / private banking industry knowledge and best practices.
Determine the milestones and underlying requirements to execute the project plan in conjunction with stakeholders across the various functional groups (Legal, Compliance, Technology, Operations, Business Management, Risk).
Partner closely with APAC Operations middle office team and technology partners to deliver strategic operating model and solutions.
Responsible for the planning, management and execution of projects through a project plan and engagement of stakeholders.
Define end-to-end operating environment, design solutions and drive comprehensive solutions ensuring alignment to the Global Operating Model.
Plan and coordinate testing of new functionality and regression testing.
Provide updates on the project status to senior management and stakeholders
Identify critical requirements and potential gaps by understanding complex and interdependent processes.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
Bachelor's degree holder
At least 5 -10 years of relevant project management experience in one or several of the Operations area (back or middle office) in a reputable bank, fund administrator or financial institution
Proven experience as a Project Manager or similar role in the financial industry and experienced with regulatory reporting / data topics.
Possesses ability to drive the strategic objective and communicate appropriately.
Demonstrate an exceptional capacity to exercise good judgement under pressure.
Must be highly disciplined, a self-starter, and have the ability to execute on assignments independently.
Adaptability to learn new tasks and demonstrate a willingness to understand the details of a process.
Sound ownership with ability to operate in a flexible, dynamic environment where creative and strategic thinking are also required in driving solution, initiatives and projects.
