As a Sr Financial Analyst here at Honeywell, you will play a crucial role in supporting the financial planning and analysis activities for our Environmental and Energy Solutions (ESS) Strategic Business Group (SBG). You will be responsible for analyzing financial data, preparing reports, and providing insights to support strategic decision-making. Your work will directly contribute to the financial success of the SBG and help drive growth and profitability. You will work with our Finance Director and you’ll work out of our Morris Plains, NJ location on a hybrid work schedule. In this role, you will impact the financial performance of the ESS SBG by providing accurate and timely financial analysis, forecasting, and reporting. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop financial models, evaluate business performance, and identify opportunities for improvement. Your insights and recommendations will be instrumental in driving cost optimization, revenue growth, and operational efficiency.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Acting as COO and financial adviser to the Stationary OEM leadership team to align business decisions which enable performance to quarterly financial commitments
• Lead the Management Operating System (MOS) to provide right and fast financial information for business decision.

• Lead the weekly OEM pulse meeting to engage OEM team for driving the business performance.
• Execute financial strategies to achieve or exceed committed performance.
• Perform in-depth financial analytics to identify pricing opportunities, cost productivities, Variable Contribution Margin (VCM) and Working Capital improvements.
• Manage the monthly forecasting process, driving continuous improvement to reduce variances and identify risks / opportunities in the forecast.

• Monthly accounts reconciliation and entries posting.
• Provide financial analysis and support to the SIOP process.
• Lead Annual Operating Plan (AOP) process as well as actively participate in the Strategic Plan (STRAP)


YOU MUST HAVE

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in financial analysis or related roles

WE VALUE

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field

• Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field

• Experience in the manufacturing or industrial sector

• Knowledge of SAP or other ERP systems

• Excellent communication and presentation skills

• Ability to work independently and collaborate with cross-functional teams

• Strong analytical skills and proficiency in financial modeling and forecasting
