As an Associate Quality Engineer, you will be designing test scenarios and developing automated tests and testing frameworks. You will solve problems, you will do deep root analysis and provide fixes for found problems. We will need you to be able to think creatively and adapt to change, as well as be willing to learn new things.

As an Associate Quality Engineer, you will gradually gain a deep understanding of various aspects of complex technologies such as Java tuning on different JVMs, Apache HTTP Server performance analysis, load balancing and high availability, intricate deployments, centralized management, Platform as a Service (PaaS), various operating systems or Docker containers.

What you will do

• Design and development of new tests and tests automation on various environments such as different clouds providers or operating systems

• Develop new test applications for Red Hat JBoss Web Server and Apache HTTP server

• Verification of bug fixes and CVEs

• Document new bugs and advocate their resolution and fix with developers

• Gain an understanding of Java and Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) internals

What you will bring

• Good understanding of Java (preferred) and its supporting toolset

• Experience with scripting using Bash or Groovy

• Ability to manage your own Linux system (Fedora or RHEL is a plus)

• Good English written and verbal communication skills is a must

• Any knowledge in the following is a big plus: Web servers architecture (Apache Tomcat, Apache HTTP Server), Kubernetes, OpenShift, DevOps, Ansible, programming on Windows, C/C+ About Red Hat
