Description
This role requires a deep understanding of design and development process of wireless system such as antenna, RF front-end and transceiver, as well as validation of major end-user KPIs of RF system, in order to establish a solid correlation between feasible and measurable engineering metrics to end-user performance.
Minimum Qualifications
  • M.S Degree or equivalent with working experience in cellular, GNSS or NFC for consumer electronic devices.
  • Familiar with wireless product/silicon development cycle in industry, along with design experience on antenna, RF frontend or transceiver.
  • Familiar with relevant industry standard such as 3GPP/CTIA/CCSA, along with familiarity to regulatory certification process for global regulatory agencies such as FCC/ETSI/NAL.
  • Excellence in engineering documentation, presentation and communication.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Ph.d with 10+ years of working experience in cellular, GNSS or NFC for consumer electronic devices.
  • Excellence in link margin analysis, statistical analysis and EM simulation.
  • 5+ years design experience on antenna, RF frontend or transceiver in wireless industry.
  • 5+ years of managerial experience of design/validation team in wireless industry.
Pay & Benefits
  • At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $175,800 and $312,200, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.Note: Apple benefit, compensation and employee stock programs are subject to eligibility requirements and other terms of the applicable plan or program.
