QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum education and experience required: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Systems, Management Information Systems or related field of study plus 7 years of experience in the job offered or as Solutions Architect, Senior IT Consultant, Senior Software Developer, IT Architect, or related occupation. The employer will alternatively accept a Master’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Systems, Management Information Systems or related field of study plus 5 years of experience in the job offered or as Solutions Architect, Senior IT Consultant, Senior Software Developer, IT Architect, or related occupation.

Skills Required: Requires five (5) years of experience with the following: translating business requirements into robust and scalable integration solutions; formulating design methodologies, coding standards and define best practices to improve quality deliverables; producing integration architecture and strategy documents; end to end project handling from requirements, estimation, design, development and production support; databases such as Oracle, DB2, MySQL, or SQL Server; Java; J2EE; Application server such as Apache Tomcat, WebLogic or WebSphere. Requires two (2) years of experience with the following: defining the design principles and frameworks; Cloud Native Solutions: RedHat OpenShift Platform, K18s and Containerizations; Event Stream using Kafka; Messaging platforms such as IBM MQ; API management such as Apigee; MongoDB or another NoSQL database. Requires one (1) year of experience with the following: creating component design, server topology and deployment diagram; translating complex business requirements into functional and technical components; working with technical team to define overall system architecture that is secure, scalable and reusable and ensure technologies and tools are up-to-date.
