Responsibilitie
- Manage and lead the procurement team and activity, providing guidance and support to ensure departmental goals are met.
- Oversee the entire P2P process globally, including Account Payable and credit-card operations.
- Develop and implement cost-effective and efficient procurement strategies.
- Identify potential suppliers, conduct negotiations, and manage supplier relationships to ensure optimal terms and conditions.
- Evaluate supplier performance and implement corrective actions when necessary.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand their procurement needs and requirements.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulations throughout the procurement process.
- Prepare and present reports on procurement activities, including cost savings, supplier performance.
- Ensure staff satisfaction and operational efficiency.
- Provide assistance and mentoring to all departments as needed
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience as a Purchasing Manager.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Operations Management, or a relevant field - a must
- Excellent communication, negotiation and vendor management skills.
- Fluent in English, both written and verbal- a must
- Familiarity with sourcing, business and financial principles.
- Solid judgement and decision-making skills.
- Strong leadership capabilities.
- Outstanding organizational skills.
- Experience in managing teams- an advantage .
- Experience with NetSuite ERP, Zip, and Mesh- an advantage.
- Experience working in a public company- an advantage.
