  • As a Sr Payroll Supervisor here at Honeywell, you will beresponsible for overseeing all aspects of payroll processing, ensuring timelyand accurate payment to our employees. You will collaborate withcross-functional teams to identify business needs, implement best practices,and drive process improvements in payroll management. As a subject matterexpert, you will provide guidance and support to the payroll team, ensuringcompliance with relevant laws and regulations. Additionally, you will play akey role in driving payroll-related projects and initiatives to enhance theefficiency and effectiveness of our payroll operations. You will report directly to our Payroll Manager and you’ll work out of ourBangalore location on a hybrid work schedule. In this role, you will impact Honeywell by ensuring accurate and timely paymentof salaries, wages, and benefits to employees, while also driving processimprovements and automation initiatives to optimize payroll operations.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Oversee end-to-end payroll processing, including data entry, calculations, and disbursements
    Manage / Drive payroll integration projects for EMEA countries, along with day-to-day Accountability/Vendor Management
  • Ensure accurate and timely payment of salaries, wages, and benefits to employees
  • Collaborate with HR and Finance teams to ensure compliance with payroll-related laws and regulations
    Manage payroll vendor relationships and monitor service level agreements
  • Resolve payroll discrepancies and address employee inquiries related to payroll
    Support operations resources in building their knowledge and awareness of core processes
  • Accountable for ensuring accuracy and timeliness of payroll processing
    Drive issues escalated to vendor/technology team to closure.
  • Participate in Tier 1 Meeting and escalate key issues in Tier 2/3
    Participate in leadership reviews and MOR
  • Support organization goals as per AOP and STRAP
    Lead the HOS improvement initiatives
  • Responsible for people development and succession planning for own role
  • Provide feedback on performance and behaviors; and provide inputs in preparing development plans
  • Conduct periodic performance assessment and appraisals as per HPD process for any direct reports
  • Facilitate brainstorm sessions to drive Kaizen culture
    Facilitate resolution of issues raised by the team
  • Conduct regular Gemba to ensure Payroll Control check are followed and look out for improvements
  • Coach team members on the behaviors critical to driving and sustaining HOS culture as applicable
  • Responsible to provide updates to maintain Skill Matrix and Cross Training Plans for the team by working with Peer managers.
  • Attend conference calls with members of the Centers of Excellence (COE), as per requirement.
  • Liaison with the COE's for feedback on process improvements.
  • Actively participate in designing of process in new transitions.
  • Manage delivery of all transactions within SLA on all projects
  • Resolve escalations related to HR Applications
  • Coordinate with the HRIT to resolve the technical issues.
  • Effective relationship management with key stakeholders and customers.
  • Actively participate in cross-functional networks to achieve common business

YOU MUST HAVE

  • Minimum of 10+ years of relevant experience
  • Proven experience as a Asst. Payroll Mgr/Supervisor or in a similar leadership role
  • Strong knowledge of payroll processes, laws, and regulations
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Good understanding of SAP Payroll, PeopleSoft, Vendor Managed payroll and Customer Relationship Management (CRM/Salesforce) application.
  • Basic knowledge of HR processes, back-end operations, experience in working with global customers and Managing vendors & Invoices with quarterly review.
  • Strong Business and Functional acumen and Market Intelligence.
    Lead change management initiatives (process-, cultural-, policy-related)
  • Good communication (written and spoken) and demonstrates active listening skills
  • Knowledge of EMEA payroll process is a plus
