Your impact

As International Payroll Supervisor, you will lead, coordinate and manage the Australian and New Zealand payroll team. You will take ownership of the entire ANZ payroll process, drive continuous process improvement and serve as a valued payroll resource for the region.

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise international payroll team responsible for Australia and New Zealand.
  • Oversee the ANZ payroll processing, ensure payroll is processed accurately and timely.
  • Ensure compliance with payroll laws and regulations.
  • Audit and approve payrolls.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, relevant to payroll requirements and internal controls.
  • Communicate with internal customers to assist in resolving issues or questions.
  • Partner with cross functional teams, HR, Benefits, IT and Finance to provide support as required.
  • Provide payroll reporting as needed.
  • Execute year end processing requirements as needed.
  • Perform other country specific reconciliations and reporting.
  • Maintain confidentiality and adhere to all company policies and procedures.
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
Here's what you'll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Human Resources or Business Administration.
  • 5+ years of global payroll experience (Australian payroll experience is a must, New Zealand would be an asset), preferably with companies having 1,000+ employees.
  • Practical knowledge of Australian payroll processing, general payroll policy, government regulation and tax requirements.
  • Intermediate to advanced software skill and experience with Microsoft Excel, including pivots, lookups, filtering and sorting (VBA would be an asset).
  • Fluency in English, verbal and written.
  • Ability to work under stressful conditions and meet strict deadlines required.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
  • Strong leadership skills (experience in leading multinational team would be an asset).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
