As a Product Management Consultant, you will identify new growth areas, technologies and emerging product/service opportunities. You will conduct in-depth market analysis to optimize existing products/solutions and build next generation products, partnering closely with the Engineering and cross functional teams to build a competitive product road map and align product strategies for the business.
You will:

  • Collaborate with key Business stakeholders and Senior Engineers on design/creation/positioning for highly available and scalable products. Fluency in English and Mandarin with the ability to present to and influence stakeholders across different organizations and geographies.

  • Author strategy docs, market research and vision documents along with user stories for current and future products. Stay continuously aware of industry/competitive trends, sales, and customer requirements. Drive key business investments and identify opportunities to enhance products; ensure we drive premium to market growth and stay market leaders. Support business case for feature improvements and successor products.

  • Drive business decisions, marketing deliverables, and product updates collaboratively with the cross-functional and offer management team. Conduct customer, partner, and sales product events, trainings and briefings. Actively track global product RUM (revenue, unit, margin) metrics, business commit attainment and market share, and drive demand strategy actions with regional teams where needed.

  • Manage the health of the product and portfolio (quality, support, online/offline offers, commodity attach, transition, etc.) and drive the right direction with the respective responsible functions. Participate in weekly core team discussions to prioritize business decisions and incorporate the customer voice.

  • Lead and drive cohesive go-to-market activities, driven by cost and competitive positioning with messaging and regional marketing teams to drive product attainment and market share growth

Essential Requirements

  • Experience in defining long-term product strategy and vision, including identifying differentiated positioning against competition

  • Business and entrepreneurial acumen with strategic, critical thinking and structured problem-solving skills to address complex challenges.Solid grasp of business goals and objectives as they relate to customer use cases and solutions, and proven ability to drive alignment across global and regional teams without direct authority

  • Experience defining projects, collecting requirements, writing detailed functional specifications, coordinating efforts to scope and scheduling and deploying competitive and innovation feature sets

  • Experience in writing product and customer requirements and using qualitative and quantitative data to prioritize decision-making.

  • Fluency in both English and Mandarin with strong communication and presentation skills to influence cross functional stakeholders and executives across geographies


Desirable Requirements

  • MBA degree or other Master of Business degree preferred. 12+ years of relevant experience in product marketing, product management and/or program management experience preferred and able to work in a fast-paced environment requiring daily decision making, business modeling and business case development skills
