Job Summary

As a Client Data Analyst within our KYC/AML team, you will be an team member contributor responsible for understanding and implementing KYC standards, guidelines, policies, and procedures. You will handle and maintain confidential client documentation, collect and verify confidential client data, and review client data/processes to meet firm-wide quality standards. This role provides an opportunity to engage with the Middle office and be part of KYC/AML interactions, offering a challenging and rewarding environment for growth and development.

Job Responsibilities

  • Understand and implement of KYC standards, guidelines, policies and procedures
  • Selection, performance management, and overall development of employees within their assigned team
  • Conducts analysis of daily/monthly metrics to track performance of individual team members over time to evaluate performance, learning, and capability
  • Effectively address any issues that might be escalated by either internal or external customers
  • Drive Process improvements and implement process changes as necessary
  • Create an effective and efficient team through continuous communication, timely feedback, and appropriate supervisory practices
  • Managing priorities across the wider function

Required qualifications, skills and Capabilities

  • Bachelor’s Degree and/or Graduate Degree
  • 12+ years’ experience in the Financial Services industry with a demonstrated track-record of delivery and/or relevant experience in Compliance and KYC
  • Experience with leading a new team with limited Subject Matter Expertise
  • Outstanding client management, partnership building, leadership and direct experience of dealing with multiple stakeholders at one time. Ability to identify risks and issues and successfully navigate through to completion
  • Possess strong computer skills: Lotus Notes and Microsoft Office Suite including Excel, Word and PowerPoint
  • Foster and champion High Performance Culture where people are empowered to make decisions.
