What You’ll Do

  • Analyze - Build models to evaluate the economics, value, and opportunity costs of programs and potential partners to drive the optimal selection strategy across markets, and multiply sales headcount productivity
  • Provide recommendations about our processes, how to make them more efficient, dig into data to measure the impact, and provide recommendations to the team and cross-functional partners. Including presenting to senior management and stakeholders of the organization.
  • Set up ongoing tracking of sales performance, provide proactive insight into variances vs targets, and find opportunities for improvement
  • Influence - Manage cross-functional projects with our sales, operations, product, engineering, S&P, and systems teams to drive strategy and achieve targets.
  • Be a specialist in financial, operational, and performance aspects of the Uber Delivery Sales function and the broader business
  • Identify and clearly communicate meaningful insights to cross-functional partners
Basic Qualifications:
  • At least 4 years of strategy, project/program management, process optimization, or related experience.
  • You must be a self-starter and able to work independently.
  • Experience in Analytics/data analysis, finance or strategy
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel / Google Sheets
  • Proficiency in SQL and Pipeline/ETL, Spark, etc
  • Project management experience including tools like Asana and/or JIRA, or other
  • Effective, clear, and concise interpersonal skills, verbal and written. Experience communicating with executives and cross-functional teams alike, including technical and non-technical audiences.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience problem-solving and passion for prioritizing and deconstructing complex problems effectively and consistently.
  • Analytical orientation, with an aptitude for framing business questions with data, translating business needs into strategies, and executing tactics and process improvements.
  • Experience with commercial and financial planning with a strong understanding of the P&L
  • Experience with sales dashboarding and pipeline data analysis
  • Ability to build consensus with cross-functional partners, and to negotiate priorities with internal partners at all levels.
  • Experience working with teams across global time zones.

For Chicago, IL-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$112,000 per year - USD$124,000 per year.

For New York, NY-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$124,000 per year - USD$137,500 per year.

For San Francisco, CA-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$124,000 per year - USD$137,500 per year.
