As a Vice President in Risk Architecture, you will engage in data reconnaissance and exploratory tasks to identify valuable data, conduct analyses to enhance and transform this data, and build optimally designed data products. Your role includes participating in the development and optimization of Customer Analytical Data products, encompassing conceptual, logical, physical, and semantic design, testing, performance tuning, maintaining metadata and lineage reports, and transitioning to operational support teams. Leading the User Acceptance Testing (UAT) efforts in our transition to cloud-based platforms (AWS) will also be a significant part of your responsibilities.
Job responsibilities:
- Work with stakeholders to develop requirements for creating new attributes
- Conduct requirement grooming sessions with the development teams
- Develop and execute UAT test cases
- Work with the Data Review Board to get attributes certified
- Research and remediate data issues in the existing attributes
- Create metadata and lineage reports
Required qualifications, capabilities and skills:
- Bachelor's Degree in a quantitative field: Computer Science, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, Econometrics, Biostatistics, Operations Research, Computing and Information Theory, Industrial / Electrical Engineering, Information Systems
- 5+ years of experience in writing SQL scripts and experience with Unix
- Expert in developing process flows and documenting metadata
- Experience in developing web interfaces (SharePoint, Confluence, etc.)
- Experience in understanding and following the Agile methodology
- Experience with AWS tools
- Experience with Data Quality monitoring and reconciliation processes
Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills:
- AWS practitioner Certification
- AWS tools (AAAS and Data Bricks preferred)
- Knowledge of banking data and concepts
- Comfortable manipulating and summarizing large quantities of data
- Ability to deliver high-quality results under tight deadlines
