Under the direct leadership of the Cluster Security Manager, the DSS maintains the physical security posture of their assigned sites with the support of the security guard force vendor.You’ll join a diverse team of software, hardware, and network engineers, supply chain specialists, security experts, operations managers, and other vital roles. You’ll collaborate with people across AWS to help us deliver the highest standards for safety and security while providing seemingly infinite capacity at the lowest possible cost for our customers. - Direct and manage contract guard force to run daily data center operations.
- Provide guidance and leadership to contract security provider personnel.
- Ability to walk a facility and observe security gaps in physical barriers, security officer procedure, policies, surveillance equipment, and alarm points.
- Evaluate the contract security provider performance and service delivery and request corrective actions from vendors as needed.
- Foster working relationships to educate data center stakeholders on false alarm reductions.
- Extract metrics and observe improvements by looking at and analyzing data.
- Verify Data Center security programs are delivered to meet defined global security standards.
- Assist in all media integrity related Programs.
- Assist in the training of new and existing personnel on behavioral compliance to security policies and procedures.- Draft reports and prepare presentations on the status of physical security operations.

- 2+ years of experience within similar role in the public or private security industry.
- 2+ years of experience using data and metrics to improve processes and/or customer satisfaction
- Hold Professional Identity Card (TIP) as security director qualification or ability to obtain one.
- Hold Habilitacion Personal de Seguridad (HPS) or the ability to obtain one.

- 2 years plus managing contract guard force
- Trained on data analysis and visualization systems as Microsoft PowerBI or equivalent
- Experience working in a mission critical environment, such as a Data Center
