Responsibilities:
Develop a vision and strategy for implementing systematic controls and intuitive solutions to enforce adoption of Master Reference Data (MRD) across the Services
Actively engage with the Enterprise Data team to define the guidelines, standards and procedures for Master Reference Data based on line of business consumption requirements
Central point of contact accountable for ensuring the Services Business is complying with the various policies that cover adoption of Master Reference Data
Engages and coordinates with key stakeholders, Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), Data Owners, Data Stewards, Technology Owners, and the Services Data Lead for delivering Master Reference Data requirements (existing and new ongoing)
Establishes the required governance structures within Services, including updates to senior leadership for Master Reference Data adoption requirements
Partners with the Enterprise Data team, lines of business product & tech and downstream consumers of data to define the prioritized scope for Services commitments on Mater Reference Data (existing and new ongoing)
Develop medium to long-term plans & roadmap and execute for full adoption of Master Reference Data requirements to meet regulatory commitments
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree required, Master’s preferred
10+ years relevant experience in in Banking, Financial Services
Experience with Master Reference Data and enforcing adherence to Corporate Data Policy
Strong ability to perform extensive strategic leadership in delivering business value through vision, governance, and executive management
Strategic mindset, with ability to foresee future possibilities and translate them into breakthrough strategies
Manage through ambiguity by making sense of complex, high quantity and sometimes contradictory information to effectively solve problems
Communicates effectively; develops and delivers multi-mode communications that convey a clear understanding of the unique needs of different audiences
Able to influence outcomes without necessarily direct authority; experienced in navigating large complex organizations to achieve results
Possess strong collaboration skills to effectively lead cross-functional teams to drive deliverables, projects and engagements to completion
Experience creating and executing against frameworks that improve the quality and value of data to meet regulatory commitments and enhance risk management
Experience creating and being a champion for a positive risk culture that supports sustainable business growth through transparent engagement, a partnership approach, and a no-tolerance approach for behavior that exposes the organization to an inappropriate amount of risk
Able to anticipate and balance needs of multiple stakeholders
Exceptional leadership skills to build a culture of accountability, collaboration and teamwork across the organization
Able to engage with technology on design patterns and drive effective solutions
