Key requirements:

• Develop and maintain a deep understanding of our customers, their needs, and how our ecommerce/portal platform can meet those needs;
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including architects, release engineers, and business stakeholders, to ensure successful delivery of features;
• Collect and write technical stories based on business requirements, ensuring that they are clear, concise, and actionable for the development team;
• Understand the value of the scope being proposed and capture strong definition of done and success criteria on requirements;
• Develop, document, and revise system design procedures, test procedures, and quality standards;
• Educate architects and developers on business requirements and help with solution definition and level of effort assessments;
• Help educate business on solution constraints and think through possible failure modes;
• Support project status reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends;
• Monitor the performance of project execution and development through active participation in scrums and status calls;
• Support troubleshooting efforts as necessary and work proactively to maintain a fully functional platform with best in class performance metrics.
  

Key skills and qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business, or a related field;
• 5+ years overall IT experience;
• 3+ years of experience as a business analyst, with a focus on ecommerce or portal;
• Strong understanding of ecommerce/portal platforms, technologies, and trends;
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills;
• Proven ability to drive results and deliver successful products;
• Experience in writing technical and functional requirements.
