What You’ll Do
  • You reports to the Manager Production Operations
  • You manage and lead Operations Supervisors, develop the team structures and training programs as well hiring plans
  • You act based on directions by the manager and undertakes actions for process improvement for new products / processes
  • You act in accordance with environmental, health and safety regulations
  • You are responsible for executing the job with focus on cost, quality and timing
  • You build and maintain an attitude of team players
  • Accountability for key shop metrics: First Time Through, Overall Equipment Efficiency, Safety, Quality Targets and Daily Production Plan
  • You support and meet business plans, capacity & headcount targets, and Key Performance Indicators (KPI)
  • You act in accordance with compliance and security regulations
  • You updates and documents Process FMEA and contributes to zero-defect policy
  • You support and manage continuous improvement activities in safety, environmental, quality, cost, efficiency, and productivity objectives; provide feedback to management on issues; benchmark other organizations for best practices
  • You ensure consistency in standards and documentation as well monitors and ensures compliance and
  • Support new product and material introductions, interact with design team to coordinate new model launches
  • You monitor and evaluate product key characteristics and interact with Quality Management Team to correct, contain, and resolve quality concerns and
  • Administer, coordinate, and comply with all Business Management Systems (BMS) and Environmental Management Systems (EMS) requirements
What You’ll Bring
  • Bachelor / Master of Science in Mechanical, Industrial or Production Engineering. The equivalent in experience is also acceptable with evidence of exceptional ability
  • Previous experience in working in and acting with multiple groups of professionals
  • Previous experience in automotive or high-volume manufacturing (beverage among others) is highly desired
  • Previous experience in (hotforming / high-speed-)stamping or plastics manufacturing
  • Solidly organized, with meticulous attention to detail
  • Experience with structured problem-solving methodology
  • Able to work under intense time pressure in the presence others
  • Mastery of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio / Project, Jira, Confluence
  • Travel is included, including some internationally may be required from time to time
  • Exemplary verbal and written communication skills
  • Fluent in German and English language skills
  • Working Schedule: Day-shift. Availability to cover shifts during buy-off / severe process issues
