Description
The Employment Counsel will provide advice and counsel to management and Human Resource professionals on a broad range of legal issues including, but not limited to, employee and labor relations; immigration; discipline and terminations; and internal investigations. Additional responsibilities include facilitating legal training and managing outside counsel on employment litigation matters and administrative charges.
Key Qualifications
- 10+ years relevant legal experience
- Experience managing and completing complex projects
- Excellent knowledge of federal and state labor and employment laws and regulations (including ADA, ADEA, FMLA, FLSA, NLRA etc.)
- Excellent knowledge of immigration laws and relevant agencies
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Strong client relation skills
- Experience working directly with management
- Sense of humor and commitment to professionalism
Education & Experience
JD or equivalent and admission into at least one US state bar
Pay & Benefits
- At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $217,300 and $326,700, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.Note: Apple benefit, compensation and employee stock programs are subject to eligibility requirements and other terms of the applicable plan or program.
