About the role:
As Clinical Project Manager, you will be responsible for planning and flawless execution of clinical data collection and reporting. This critical role partners with Clinical Project Managers, Clinical Trial managers and functional management to build schedules, budgets and resource plans to support Clinical studies throughout the project life cycle. The ideal candidate will possess necessary communication skills, project management knowledge, clinical acumen, a willingness to learn, and “can do” attitude. Your responsibilities will include:
- Project Management: With the Trial Manager, lead and drive the clinical project team in the planning, execution and management of budget and schedule aspects of clinical trials; develops and implements project plan; builds team ownership and commitment to project plan.
- Risk Management: In collaboration with the project team, tracks the proactive identification of risks and issues, assessment, and mitigation strategies to reduce overall risk profile.
- Schedule Management: Tracks development and schedule, manage critical path and dependencies closely, ensure schedule is maintained and communicated effectively throughout the organization.
- Communication: Responsible for team and cross-functional budget and schedule related communications, project meeting minutes, issues log, metrics, and other key communications. Communicates cross-functional issues effectively.
- Data Management: Uses internal project management and finance systems to update project milestones, study timelines, and key project data; ensures data is up-to-date and an accurate reflection of the current state of the project.
- Financial Management: Assists with management of portfolio and project financials including budgeting, forecasting, actuals tracking. Participates in budget development and evaluating how portfolio and project plan changes impact cost and schedule. Provides reporting to key stakeholder areas as requested. Manages creation of POs and approval of invoices. Responsible for the accuracy of the budget, bridging variances, and adjusting as necessary.

Required Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years with Bachelor’s degree, or an equivalent combination of education/work experience
- Prior Clinical trial and/or Project Management experience
- Proven experience of interacting with stakeholders and business colleagues to analyze and define business requirements and related project reporting, developing methodologies to create and enhance applications and tools
- MS Project knowledge

- Clinical or Financial planning systems experience
- Ability to work with teams in a collaborative manner
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, attention to detail
- Desire to develop project management aptitude
