The Silicon Cloud Hardware and Infrastructure Engineering (SCHIE) team isa highly motivated hardware systems engineer to work in a team of other hardware and software developers to create systems and modules to be deployed in Microsoft’s Azure Cloud. Microsoft providesample opportunitiesfor developers to have an impact on products that touch the lives of millions of users daily, in a cutting-edge public cloud environment.
As a Systems Engineering II team member, you will work directly with engineers across cross-functional teams and deliver hardware designs from concept to data center deployment. Responsibilities will include interacting directly with Microsoft’s services teams, cross-focusing on the functional interfaces and developing test casesand qualifying the designs. This is an opportunity toand grow your existing hardware design/validation experience and provide innovative End 2 End hardware solutions to Microsoft Cloud.

Required Qualifications
5+ years of technical engineering experience
o OR Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field AND 2+ years of technical engineering experience
o OR Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field

Hardware Engineering IC3 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $98,300 - $193,200 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $127,200 - $208,800 per year.Certain roles may be eligible for benefits and other compensation.
