Value Added Services Strategy & Roadmap:
Own and evolve the product vision and roadmap for Value-Added Services that complement and enhance the core payments platform.
Identify market gaps and growth opportunities across services such as fraud detection, tokenization, FX and treasury optimization, smart retry, settlement insights, and compliance monitoring.
Define monetization strategies for VAS products, including tiered packaging, usage-based pricing, or ecosystem bundling.
Payments Platform Thinking:
Drive platform-firstarchitecture—ensuringVAS solutions are embedded, modular, and scalable across all payment flows (checkout, payouts, B2B, cross-border).
Partner with platform engineering to architect services that are performant, resilient, and extensible across merchant and partner segments.
Define clear KPIs to track product adoption, revenue contribution, and operational impact (e.g., risk reduction, conversion uplift).
Continuously evaluate customer feedback, industry benchmarks, and platform telemetry to iterate on VAS performance.
Commercial Acumen & GTM:
Build detailed business cases, market sizing, and unit economics to support prioritization and executive alignment.
Collaborate with GTM teams to define target segments, use cases, and positioning strategies for VAS offerings.
Enable commercial teams with messaging, ROI calculators, and training materials to support field sales and partnerships.
Work across Risk, Compliance, Treasury, and Legal teams to build secure and compliant VAS offerings that solve mission-critical needs.
Partner with Data Science to embed intelligence and automation into services like fraud scoring or dynamic FX
What you need to bring
8+ years of product and platform experience, within the payments or financial technology sectors, with a proven track record of launching and scaling products that deliver quantifiable value to customers (consumers and/or merchants).
Deep understanding of acquiring/processing platforms, value-added services, fraud/risk tools, FX/treasury flows, and transaction routing.
Familiarity with global regulatory environments, compliance standards, and risk management protocols.
Track record of delivering platform-native services in collaboration with engineering, analytics, and operations teams.
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills—capable of influencing across product, GTM, legal, and executive layers.
