.As a key engineering partner, you will be responsible for helping to architect, build, test, maintain, support, and expand the front-end components, build pipelines, and content services for our Docusaurus-powered documentation platform. You will also play a critical role in our AI-driven documentation experience, optimizing the content development lifecycle to be responsive to digital agent feedback.You will collaborate in a dynamic environment with other engineers, designers, product managers, technical writers, technical program managers, and more to ensure seamless integration and a consistent user experience. This position is a great balance of working for a large, established company, while still getting the individual support you need for growing your personal and professional self. Lastly, you will need to understand the massive importance of building and maintaining authentic, positive relationships with your team members and stakeholders.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional software development experience
• A related technical degree
• A solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, computer science fundamentals, design patterns, and object-oriented programming methodologies
• A solid understanding of professional software engineering best practices including code standards, reviews, SCM, CI/CD, build processes, and testing
• Experience using and managing AI-assisted programming tools with highly trusted results
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+) and its ecosystem and React.js and its core principles (components, state management, hooks, etc.)
• Extensive experience with React.js and its core principles (components, state management, hooks, etc.)
• Solid understanding of Node.js for front-end tooling, build processes, and potentially server-side rendering, with an emphasis on performance optimization
• Experience managing and extending themes, plugins, and configurations to meet evolving content design requirements, with an emphasis on efficiency and scalability
• Experience optimizing build processes for large-scale sites, including strategies for reducing build times, sharding or organizing content, and managing memory consumption
• Proficiency with modern front-end build pipelines and tools
• Experience with continuous integration (Git, Perforce) and continuous deployment (Jenkins, GitLab, CircleCI)
• Experience with monitoring, alerting, and logging tools (Grafana, New Relic, PagerDuty)
• Participate in the team’s on-call rotation to address complex problems in real time and keep services operational and highly available
• Agile/Scrum/Lean development methodology experience
• Excellent verbal, written, and emotional interpersonal skills
• Excellent time-management skills

• Able to execute effectively with globally distributed teams

Preferred Skills

• Experience with content publishing systems in large-scale, global environments, with localization into multiple languages, and deployments of multiple formats to multiple end points
• Proficiency in private and public cloud architecture design, infrastructure, distributed systems, load balancing, networking, massive data storage, caching (CDN), and security
• Skilled with analysis and debugging of customer-facing products
• Experience with IaaS offerings, such as AWS, GCP, or Azure
• Salesforce product development or implementation

Posting Statement

For Washington-based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $125,700 to $216,700. For California-based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $137,100 to $236,500.
