About the role
Responsibilities:
Customer Engagement:
Collaborate with sales team members to identify new opportunities, understand customer requirements and objectives.
Build strong relationships with technical decision makers and serve as a trusted advisor throughout the customer engagement process.
Conduct meetings and presentations with potential and existing customers to gather information about their IT infrastructure, challenges, and goals, to identify opportunities for our products and services.
Be able to qualify potential services & software opportunities and develop comprehensive technical solutions addressing customer needs and pain points.
Presales Support:
Assist the sales team in preparing and delivering compelling presentations and demonstrations showcasing HP’s solutions.
Address technical inquiries and concerns from customers, providing accurate and timely responses.
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure the proposed solutions align with the customer’s needs and objectives.
Have an aptitude for technical selling, demonstrating the ability to align HP’s solutions with the customer needs effectively.
Support proof of concepts and provide hands-on technical assistance to customers during HP hardware, software, and services evaluations.
Stay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitor offerings.
Work closely with HP internal teams to understand product capabilities and provide feedback on customer & market requirements.
Qualifications:
• Technical diploma or bachelor’s degree preferred.
• And/or experience in a presales technical role, preferably in the IT industry.
• An understanding of IT Infrastructure, networking, cloud computing and cybersecurity principles.
• Relevant certifications (e.g. CompTIA Security +, AWS Certified Solutions Architect) are a plus.
Skills:
Fluency in Dutch, French and English.
Proficiently employ effective outcome based questioning techniques and communication skills.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
Analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically.
Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and adapt quickly to changing priorities.
Be able to balance customer engagement activities with continuous technical skill development.
